In his role of Broker Representative at Square Foot, Inc., Billy Hartmann specializes in project leasing and tenant representation. Since joining the company in October 2014, he has acquired several major retailers and successfully negotiated over $2.4 million in lease transactions in his first year at Square Foot.
Hartmann currently represents a number of large retail tenants and strives to work closely with his clients in order to understand their goals and objectives. Hartmann gained a strong foundation for the commercial brokerage business while working as a commercial real estate appraiser. Prior to Square Foot, he worked for more than 10 years at Ryan, Hartmann, Freidel Co. Additionally, he has owned and managed numerous residential and commercial properties and has operated as the project manager for a number of construction projects.
Hartmann is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Outside of work, he is an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, and currently serves on the board of the Holy Name Society and is the Chairman of the Monsignor John T. Gulczynski Endowment Trust Fund. He received a degree in Mathematics from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.
