Rolando R. Leal serves as managing broker for Square Foot, Inc. Rolando’s mission is finding quality retail development/re-development opportunities of properties to attract national credit retailers to accelerate revitalization of underserved communities. With 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, he offers expertise in site selection, tenant representation, land sales and restaurant leasing. Rolando has a passion for growing underserved neighborhoods and is focused on Southern Dallas County and Hispanic retail submarkets throughout the D/FW Metro Area.
Rolando began his career with the retail division of Coldwell Banker Commercial, S.A. in early 2001 where he established relationships with a number of clients whom he continues to represent today. He has also worked at Fronteras Commercial, a highly specialized brokerage company focused on Hispanic centric properties and he later joined Vista Property Company, a developer of Hispanic focused grocery-anchored shopping centers.
Rolando has experience representing the Aslam Group, TitleMax, Access Dental and Yum! Brands. He currently works with La Familia Auto Insurance, Navika Capital Group, Jack in the Box corporate and Dallas-area franchisees, and a Golden Chick Dallas-area franchisee. Leal is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Hispanic Realtors. He is a cum laude graduate from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Real Estate Finance.
